How do you make a practical decision?

Electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and cooling routes should be coordinated before finishes. Agreed service zones reduce unnecessary cutting and later conflicts with ceilings, furniture or lighting.

Before handover, systematically test water pressure, drainage, heating, electrical points, windows and doors, roof drainage and facade junctions. Photographs of concealed services and core technical records make future maintenance much easier.
